Shauna, Matt and I each made a little decoupage owl out of textured paper and canvas after Shauna sent me a picture of one she had seen at a store. I cant wait to finish these and put them into the room. 
Then today, a blanket that I ordered through Etsy came in the mail to get me even more excited to have a baby. This blanket could not be more perfect! Its hard to think that I will have to wait until April to wrap someone in it.
Its hard to see, but the backing is a pattern of tiny owls too. I just love it!On a trip to Target, I noticed this gem in the Halloween decorations. I didn't even hesitate to buy it :) 
I know that I am a little ahead of myself, but don't worry, I haven't done much else. It just so happens that I found a bunch of cute owl things all in the same week! Can you tell I'm thrilled?

You're so cute. Hopefully your little bundle of joy won't be much of a "night owl" so you and matt can get some sleep. (I'm cheesey I know, but I couldn't resist)
That's adorable! You're so crafty! Don't worry the time will come soon enough for you to wrap that little one up... then before you know it they'll be much to big to wrap up at all any more.
SO cute! And those owls are much different than the owls I imagined in my head when you told me about them the other day...I'll have to keep my eyes open for other fun things. :)

i love it. I'm the same way and can't wait to get things for little emily and then keep being told to wait or due to a VERY tight budget I have to pass them up. I think it's adorable! I can't wait till you find out what your having!

Is that an owl night-light? Awesome. I like the idea, overall. Very creative. Assuming your child doesn't have oclophobia.
Can I hire you to decorate my ENTIRE house? You'd get to visit Germany while you're at it....
