Tons of Tests

I went to the fertility specialist today and there were a lot of needles and they took a lot of blood.I AM BIG BABY WHEN IT COMES TO BLOOD DRAWS, so they used "butterfly" needles on me. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is the smallest needle used intravenously and it was made for babies, like me.
I am such a wuss, but I got through it without any tears! Aren't you proud of me Mom and Dad? It only took me 24 years!

No answers yet, but I should get results soon.

Hey Holly,

It's been a long time hasn't it? So glad to see you are doing well. (Cept for the needle part) Don't worry I have to use the butterfuly's too. Good luck!!

Butterfly needles? What the...I don't even know what you are talking about. But good luck.

P.S. Are you double jointed? Your elbows look all....let's see....flouncy. Was that diplomatic enough?

Needles are no fun, but I hope you do find answers soon. :) Preston had his blood drawn for the first time this week and that almost made me cry, so I feel for you.

Colton, her elbows aren't flouncy, they're just all boney and stuff.

Trust me, Hottie, in the very last bit of your pregnancy you will be asking for needles...all kinds of BIG needles, and you won't care if they have wings and fly like a butterfly or not.

:) we love you!!

Sorry Holly, I hope everything goes well. I don't like needles either. But what are butterfly needles??? I've never even heard of those or I would have been asking for them. But I agree, by the end of your pregnancy you'll be begging for that big needle (unless you're one of those lucky people with really easy deliveries). By the way, Nick says hi!

Good luck - and i HATE needles too. Just to let you know how much, I opted for a natural birth with Tyson out of morbid fear of the epidural needle. LOL. You're not alone in your fear of needles. We'll be praying for you.

I went to the doctor and they put I.V.s in me. First off, it took them 20 tries or something. Secondly, I cried my eyes out. They hurt! Even the needles they use to draw blood are painful. We had some friends that were trying to get pregnant for a year and a half or so...and they finally got pregnant. Things seem to happen on Heavenly Father's time. :) Good luck with everything. I hope all is well.

I am so proud of you. I had a fear of needles until I went to Medical Assisting school...there was one day that I had 22 holes and 22 bandids on my body....between blood draws and shots...it was insane! I quickly learned that they aren't too bad! I looked like a little bit of a drug addict! Keep me posted on what's going on....your in my prayers!!
