Last night I hung out with the Dillon kids and took them to dinner at
Applebees. We had a great time. I got a few weird looks being 23 and with 4 kids, but whatever. Then we went home and watched the "
High school Musical Countdown" which Laurel is so excited for. Here are some great pictures that I took of the kids (not last night) one summer day. They are so much fun to photograph,
even though they are close to
impossible to pose.

So cute! Love those dirty little feet!
Lovelly cutie feeties & Blog. :)
My girls would fit in with your kids well. I’ve always let them go barefoot (except to school).
They are 7 and 9 years old. Their feet are clean after the bed time bath, but as soon as they are outside or we go shopping, if the parking lot doesn’t turn the bottoms black, the store floor will. My oldest has (accidentally) walked over broken glass, which she described as feeling like sharp stones, but her feet are tough enough, no cuts.
Even my youngest easily runs around in the street (we live on a dead end road) or in parking lots without any issues. They both have black bottoms by the end of the day.
I’ve even had “moms” offer to buy them flip flops (they have some in the car but rarely wear them). My oldest simply says “no thank you”.
On a more positive note, their toes can grab trees easier when climbing and they can go catch minnows without having to first take off shoes at the park.
