Woodland Park Zoo

On Saturday, despite the packed parking lots and long entrance lines, Courtney, Mom, Matt, Sam and I managed to make it to the Zoo. The weather was perfect, and we had a great time. Sam was very interested in all of the animals. I can already tell that this is going to be a favorite place of his, just as it is for Matt and I.When we arrived at the raptor center, they had Peregrine Falcon flying over the crowd. It was so cool to see. I am a little disappointed that I didn't get to see any of the owls though :(The highlight for Matt was the Carousel sign with the missing "C'. In the Australia exhibit, we were watching the Kangaroos when we noticed Emu eggs below us. The teenage girls standing next to me as I was taking the picture said "Wow, look at those kangaroo eggs." I couldn't help but laugh out loud. What are they teaching kids in school these days? All of the excitement finally wore Sam out and he fell asleep in Daddy's arms.

IS there a picture of you hanging in your mom's house with those same bangs?!?! I mean that in a good way!

I need to take Holden to the zoo again now that he is older! I bet he will love it too. Sam is sooooooooo CUTE!

I am envious whenever I see pictures you take of the zoo, or outside, or game night...well, lets be honest. Pretty much everything. But especially the animal things.
