A little help, "peeeze?"

When Sam wants something, he rubs his belly (his attempt at sign language) and asks "Peeeze? Peeeze?"

Now I ask for your help. Its dire :) OK, not really. But I have been looking for a rug for our bedroom for months now and I just cant decide. I think I have it narrowed down though...

OPINIONS PEEEZE! I have imposed my favorite rugs into a shot of our room. Take a look and let me know what you think.

I want to add color but I also love simplicity. I don't want it to be too girly but I want a "romantic" feel. I love "edgy" but classic is great as well. Darn it. Am I being too quixotic?

We'll start with you basic white shag. Classic, simple and romantic. But also expensive and hard to clean...(obviously this is not an actual rug, but you get the idea.)

So, many of you know I have a "thing" for leopard print. LOVE IT. So I had to try this on for size. Its simple, sexy and the colors match perfectly. I just don't know if Matty will go for it.

This one is also a very good color match. I love the large print and the texture. I just don't think it has much of a statement to it.

I love this floral rug. I love the colors and the feel. What do you think? Too bright?
r5
I put it last but its my FAVORITE so far. The colors are perfect for my vision and I love the "world traveler" feel. Do you see it? Or does it cry out something lame I am just not seeing....

Comments are greatly appreciated!!!

So I realize that I my opinion may not be valuable in this area, but the only one of those rugs that I like is the plain white one. Especially if it is some kind of absorbent terry dreadlock material that feels delicious on bare feet. The other ones are just too busy or scary or girly. You already have enough going on in there.

I'll see if my sisters will offer their opinions, they are much better decorators than myself.

I like the white or the floral option that matches the color scheme. There is alot going on in the room and it is perfect so I think the others look too busy.

If Matt will go for it, the leopard print. If not, the first one (white) or the last (world traveler). I love simplicity and statement pieces. The others are too "in the middle" for me (which is not to say they are ugly, you know, in case you go for one of those:). I worry the decor of your room may not mesh with the last rug w/o other changes too, because your room seemed so modern. Although I liked it, and the colors looked stellar in there. GOOD LUCK! Post a pic when you finish!

Since you're asking for opinions and I've got time to give mine:) I would go leopard print. I like the other prints, but I do think they may make the room feel too busy. I've heard animal prints are like neutrals--a neutral that pops! Good luck and I'm sure whatever you choose will look awesome.

I love the white rug or the leopard. I agree some of the others one are too busy.

Ps..where did you get the chevron stripes pillow?? I am seeing them everywhere and I love them!

Last one!

the first two. I love the simpleness of the white and the sassyness of the animal. The others draw your eye away from what else you have going on. You need something to accent, not distract. Good luck.

The last one is too typical. I like the floral one, second to last.

I am personally a fan of the floral one. It totally brightens things up a lot and makes the room more fun and eclectic. HOWEVER, it's hard to pass up a good animal print rug. And the colors are lovely. But my favorite is the floral one. :)

Animal Print or "r2". I agree white would be a pain to clean!
