Matt surprised Sam and I with a weekend trip to Canada to walk around the aquarium and the city. It was a perfect day for a family outing, and Sam's first trip out of the states. We went out and bought him a front-facing car seat for the car ride up north . He loved being able to see everything.Sam's first steps in a foreign land.We saw so many cool things at Stanley Park Aquarium. Sam was especially entertained. Moon Jellyfish. Some weird deep sea dweller.Baby moon jellys.Orange JellyfishHyacinth MacawsBull frog.Axolotl.Starfish.We were able to catch the Beluga show, and Sam and I were only inches away from getting soaked during the "splash the audience" routine. Me and baby Sam and mommy beluga and baby beluga. After we had seen our fair share of animal life, we headed down into the city to do some shopping on Robson St.We also stopped in at Cafe Crepe for a light dinner, and the candy store for dessert. All in all it was a great weekend. We love Canada!
