Cotton Anniversary

Last night was our 2 year anniversary! Matt planned out a wonderful night, complete with all my favorite music downloaded in his car, and I am so thankful for all that he does.

First we stopped off at EERobbin's and got our rings polished. I LOVE to see how sparkly mine gets after a good cleaning.

Then we went to dinner at the Melting Pot which is always a nice place to sit and relax since it takes 3 hours to finish a meal.

At dinner we opened our "cotton" gifts and Matt made me a beautiful blanket to have at church because our building is always so cold. Its so perfect! Dont I have the coolest husband? He also got me a cute pair of pajama bottoms because I love to come home after a long day at work and scrub out.

I got Matt a couple of T-shirts since he has a hard time finding ones that he likes. I think I did a good job, but he hasn't tried them on yet.

The fondue was as wonderful as we expected, and although I got a horrible headache half way through dinner, it was still so fun to be out with Matt. The dessert is to die for!

After dinner, and after I drank a small country's worth of coke (caffeine gets rid of my headaches) we headed home to our puppies.
Here we have Matt and Briz teaching Brimley how to lay down on command. He learned how in only a few days! Good boy!

Then we got comfy in bed and watched "Jaws" which is one of our favorite movies. Thank you Matty for a wonderful anniversary, and for sticking with me for 2 whole years!

Tons of Tests

I went to the fertility specialist today and there were a lot of needles and they took a lot of blood.I AM BIG BABY WHEN IT COMES TO BLOOD DRAWS, so they used "butterfly" needles on me. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is the smallest needle used intravenously and it was made for babies, like me.

I am such a wuss, but I got through it without any tears! Aren't you proud of me Mom and Dad? It only took me 24 years!

No answers yet, but I should get results soon.

My New Wardrobe

Last night, I was called to serve as a Relief Society Secretary in our ward. I trust that this is a calling from the Lord, but I have NO idea what this calling entails and so I am a little nervous. I am sure that everything will be great, and I know a couple of the sisters in the presidency and they are wonderful, so I am not sure what I am so worried about. Maybe I am a little nervous to have a "woman's" calling :) I don't feel mature enough to even be in the Relief Society let alone serve in the presidency! However, I need to grow up and it looks like I have been given the chance to do so.

Adulthood (and dress suits) here I come!

A happy wife...

...equals a happy life!

Matt bought me cute flats this weekend for absolutely no reason! Its not my birthday or anything! Every girls dream husband right? He chose wisely too :)

Then on Saturday he dug 8 holes, in clay, so that I could plant my box woods. The yard is coming along, thanks to Matty.
Also, he sat on the computer for 2 hours and did our taxes for us while I hung out with the Dillons and cut the girls hair.
