Happy Birthday Matty!!
Happy Birthday!
Today I post a half nude picture of Matt in honor of his
28th BIRTHDAY!
(Since a picture of him in his full birthday suit would be inappropriate)
I heart you Babe!

Working Weekend
I feel like I got a lot done this weekend, even though there is not a lot of proof of it.
And can I just say that there is no better smell than a purple Hyacinth?
Friday we had a good group of friends over for dinner and games. It was so much fun, and I cant wait until the summer for when BBQing is a normal occurrence at our home.
Saturday morning Matt and I headed over to McAuliffs nursery to figure out what plants we want and where. Who would have know that it would be so much fun!? I cant wait to get everything planted and I am especially excited to own my own trees! Is that weird?
I cleared out more room in the front garden for our new plants (more pictures to come) and weeded the whole front yard. I seriously find a lot of joy in this even though I have no idea what I am doing. But I must be doing something right because my flowers are all looking very happy!

Then I met up with the "gang" at Chris and Tiffany's to help them with their "Shadow Boxing" project that turned out to be a lot easier than I thought it would be. This will hopefully be a project that we get around to doing in our own home soon.
On Sunday, we did what we do best-we rested. I watched Star Wars while Matt played around in the garage doing man things and then we had a great dinner with yummy dessert.

10 years ago -- I was THRILLED to attend Church dances with Melanie, Kathryn and Cherie (we probably never missed one!) I went to a school called ICS and I loved my teachers and peers. I started working at "The Ark Petstore" in Sammamish and I got paid to play with animals! I had a different crush practically ever week :)
9 daily uses -- The usual-toothbrush, blow dryer, clothes, shampoo, body wash, loofah, cleanser, lotion and deodorant.
8 things on my to do list -- Measure the garden area for the box woods, pick up a few things for Matt's b-day, figure out dinner for the Missionaries, buy pink grapefruit airborne, file things at work, make a few calls, clip and file my nails, go to the gym and clean out the crate for the new puppy.
7 places I have lived -- Mesa Arizona, Kirkland Washington, Sammamish Washington, Yonkers New York, Auburn Washington, Issaquah and Lake Stevens.
6 things I enjoy -- Matthew, Movies, Animals, Music, Outdoors and Art.
5 facts you don't know about me -- I posted my weirdest habits, so you probably know more about me than I would like! But maybe you don't know that: My middle name is Christina, my pointer fingers are REALLY curved, I hate having my knee caps touched, I have never lived without a pet and I LOVE dill pickles in the summer.
4 jobs I've had -- (My 4 favorite jobs) Pet store sales associate (and fish specialist), Nanny for 3 awesome kids in New York, Veterinary assistant and Sign Language interpreter.
3 bad habits -- Biting my lip, pulling on hang nails and saying the H-E double hockey sticks word.
2 books I last finished -- The last two Harry Potter books. I am both glad and sad that they are done.
1 favorite -- Today my favorite movie is "The Sting". I highly recommend it to anyone. Its amazing. I have 4 favorite movies that take turns at the top of the list depending on my mood. "The Color Purple", "Amelie", "Life is Beautiful" and "The Sting".
I never know who to tag, so anyone who want to, do it!
